Curious to see if anyone knows this: The suites that are ocean front but are swim-out rooms, they do not appear to have a different room category. Does anyone know if they are just randomly assigned to those rooms, or if there is any way to request those?
There are actually three swim out room categories, Xcellerate, Allure, and Xhale. If they are not coming up in your search they could be sold out. Upon check-in ask about swim-out suite availability. We have been several times and there always has been availability, and we are usually able to negotiate a fair price. We love the views and ground floor access, but the swim-out pool water temps are cool in the cooler months.
I'm aware of the different building/categories, but there are ocean front swim outs. On other AM Resorts they are listed as different class of room than normal swim ups. Was not sure if anyone requested this type of room or just lucked into one.
