maddbomber: I have to agree with the last sentence. This case is going to be in the spotlight. If he's NOT treated fairly, Mexico will once again be the subject of a lot of bad press. As much as I hate the guy, they'll have to be very careful how they handle the case.
few people will ever feel safe traveling to mexico? we'll have to agree to disagree....i have no intent on breaking the law in mexico, let alone murdering somebody....so i dont care how they treat this case
60 minutes did a special on his recent conviction, and , well , I'm not sure if he is guilty. A female tourist was attacked a month after this incident by a moon palace employee and that employee has never been questioned about the murder. Also witnesses saying they never heard anything, contaminated evidence, Then again there is evidence pointing towards guilt. It is a tragic story.
