Guess you wont get around driving back and forth to downtown with a car/taxi for groccery shopping. I also dont see the point in building a large supermarket in the HZ.
Land is too expensive Scorpio. Groceries are high volume, low margin. And as Nico says, where would they build it? Certainly not on the sea side. So be prepared to get on the bus a couple of times a week or once a week to town on the bus and a taxi back. For a few months now I have avoided Walmart at all costs. Chedruai is more go to store for the most part.
Well done! They can (*insert word/words of choice here)... off. Any news on that lately? Scorpio: It sure would be nice with at least a small supermarket of some sort, but, considering the costs, Im sure they would jack up the prices, just to cover the costs. Unless they feel generous and are looking at doing some "charity", hehe.
