Ugh, being a Dolphins fan, it was fantastic to see the Patriots get their butts whooped last weekend, and ok I thought the Jets would get beat by the Bengals, obviously that didnt happen...well this week, they would get smashed out by the Chargers right? Wrong again Fletch....Horrible game for both teams in my opinion but hey at least it wasnt a blowout like the rest of them from this weekend.

My breakdown for next weekends games

    Colts/Jets

Two words.....PEYTON MANNING. The guy is (once again) playing out of his mind and I cant see him slowing down anytime soon. On the flip side, the Jets defense is the best in the league (who woulda thunk it) led by arguably the best defensive player in the game right now Mr. Revis. Sure people are going to be talking (mainly Jet fans) that they beat the Colts already once this season, but that was a benched Colts team with virtually no stars in the game.

Now, with Addai more than likely out the Colts can either A.) Hope that UConn product Donald Brown has a monster game B.) Split time between Brown and Hart and hope to throw off the Jets run scheme. Or C.) The most obvious choice, put the ball in Peyton's hand and say GO!

Reggie Wayne, no doubt the Colts biggest threat at WR will be covered by Revis which should be advantage Revis. The reason Vincent Jackson racked up 111 is because of an obvious and exploited height differential. Wayne is 6'0 and Revis can jump substantially higher so inside cuts and short passes would beat him there, that's not Waynes game, he's a deep ball threat. Enter Garcon and Collie, two of the brightest young Wideouts in the game and I expect them to see alot of passes. They are fast, athletic and agile, I see them causing havoc for the Jets defense. Throw in Peytons favorite target, Dallas Clark and it's going to be a passing bonanza. I don't think the Sanchize is ready for the bright lights just yet, and I expect him to succumb to the pressure of playing at Indy.

    Prediction: 31-17 Colts

    Saints/Vikings

Wooohoooo I cannot wait for this game. An instant classic in the making. One side you have the legendary Brett Favre, the best RB in the game, Adrian Peterson (sorry CJ :() and one of the best pass rush/run stopping defensive monsters in the game, with a sweet mullet too in Mr. Jared Allen. On the other side you have one of the best QB in the league, Drew Brees, Reggie Bush who is playing as good as anyone right now (about time) and a core of WR who can all make plays and be effective. I see a bigtime shootout here, not quite what we saw with GB/Arizona, but the numbers are looking high. The Saints need to worry about both AP and Favre in order to win this game where as the Vikings originally figured they needed to worry solely about Brees, now have to watch out for Bush, and Pierre Thomas. I see this one coming down to the wire and really am at a toss up as who to predict. No lead is safe when playing against either of these teams so I will go on record to say.....

    Prediction: 35-31 Vikings

Alas....we get the Favre/Manning Superbowl matchup NFL fans have been dreaming of for a lonnnnnng time.

Jets werent supposed to even make the Playoffs. then the beat Cincy once (granted, Cincy had nothing to play for!) but then we beat them again in their house w/ all their stars playing, we werent supposed to do that either. Then we went on to the heavily favored San Diego and beat them in their house. another feat that wasnt supposed to happen.

moral of this story...... I dont have one.

Im just saying, why not the Jets??? Peyton Schmeyton! he's just a man like the rest. Jets might go in there and get their asses kicked this Sunday, but you just never know. they might end up doing the ass kickin!!

Like I said, my teams are on a roll.
First the Yankees, Hopefully the Jets. next..... NY Rangers!!!!!:icon_cool:

Im just happy I can do some shit talking to all the Jet-hatin Giant fans!

I like the way that Fletch is calling it. I also have to admit, I thoroughly enjoyed the Jets putting it on the Chargers.

Not sure if the Jets can come into the Luke and pull another one off, but you never know. Just not sure if they will be ready for the Colt's first string. One thing is certain... there will a lot of running to burn up the clock and the defense of both teams will play a huge part in that game.

Saints/Vikings... gonna be an aerial campaign with a dashing of Bush/Peterson. Even though I am faithful to the home team, I might be looking forward to watching this game even more.
