Lol I see we have an alternative Music countdown wel like i said each to there own with music and never disrespect a person choice in Music The soulful House music i love has its roots in Motown which then moved onto Disco, and then Chicago house, which was founded at the Warehouse club in Chicago from late 70's to mid 80's. From there it split into so many different versions of house music. In the nineties the music moved to New York City and The Shelter the main night was a friday night which was a non-alcoholic afterhours dance space the admission included water snacks and breakfast in the morning as to went onto 9am. From there Ibiza happened and house music found its home and exploded and still is. Soulful and Deep house are my loves and show the difference between the types of house music. Soulful house is also known as Vocal house and the main focus is the uplifting vocals. Deep house is known for complex melody, complex chords underlying most sequences, and a soul, vibe, Deep house is the dark side of Soulful house. Lol there you go a history of house.
