3 weeks and I'll be in Cancun for the first time. I'm taking day trips to Isla Mujeres and Cozumel, and would like to stick around for dinner and sunsets on the islands. Is it safe to take the busses back to Cancun after dark? Where are the best sunsets from the Islands, and Cancun?
I've never had a problem using the bus system, and the past two times i've been to Cancun, i've traveled alone.. I felt much safer on the bus then I did in a taxi.
Cancun sunset Our favoirte spot for happy hour sunset is Captain's Cove's deck bar. The lagoon sunset view is beautiful and the and drinks are fantastic! Don't miss it , at least one afternoon/early evening.
check the times of the last ferry back,seems to me there was a time when they didn't return after sunset...this may have changed..but to be safe check.. i'm sure there is someone here that has a definite answer
