The teachers are striking because the state wants to remove the teachers ability to SELL their jobs or give them to family members when they retire. This practice has now been outlawed by federal law as I understand it. Finally this practice is being outlawed. It will be good for Mexico. That's why no-one supports the strike.
Nahh, it will just depress you, make you angry, scare you or bore you. There are so many issues in this strike, not just the "inheritance" of teaching spots. The public education system needs a major overhaul (like so many other "systems" here).
