Actually, I wrote earlier in this thread that I'm hesitating about booking again(7th. trip) based on what I've been reading lately on here. What is scaring me is being around people(more than likely quite drunk) confronting and fighting other guests. Such situations can get very ugly and are uncomfortable for the innocent bystanders. While I've never seen this at TTR, it is sounding lately like the norm. And something most innocent bystanders would rather not be around. Yes, I know I'm gonna get flamed for this!
I have nothing against either of you/lynfa or Rob and Tonya. I haven't met you yet as you have not met Glenn or I.
Sorry Tere but I haven't read any post about people fighting. Read a few regarding people being confronted over taking pictures etc but none about fighting. This will be our 4th trip and we've never seen any arguments let alone fighting and hope never to see any because TTR is a fun place
The threads that mention confrontations are usually about how singles guys and the camera situation. You've not read them?
Tere. I have never had an issue with any single guys at the resort. I have had guys ask me if they can take a pic with me after we met. Sometimes I put my top on and sometimes I don't.
I've read them but they don't mention fighting do they? A lot of people are pissed of with sneaky pictures being taken and they talk about taking peoples cameras off them and deleting the pictures but has anyone said they've hit anyone?
after nine trips, Ive have finally mastered how to handle all three of those.... A.the bar has shade, so always be by a bar... B.eat lots of fruit at the buffet in the morning and water periodically throughout day, (helps the hangover too)....C. Ive learned to take either take a nap on beach during the day, or around like 5 or 6 when the sexy pool calms down, I go back and take a nap before dinner and the Patty O' lounge starts .... Those seem to work for me any way
