A little of the swinging talk is ok, yet to much and you are tired of it. The negative and argument post just plain suck and it is not what this forum is about. Seems like people want to make it political and threaten others, that is rude. Damn, we are going to miss you again...... That makes me very sad as we missed you last year due to piggy bullshit. tere: found an even better rate at another site as well... schoosh was aboout 10 dolars higher a night but better - 110 better than the going rate at most sites..... AND I also wondered if the amount you paid made a difference in the room you got (also saw some got bumped in the past and that would be a BUMMER)/

Hey great thread since I am sure alot of people going single or couples read things online like tripadvisor and a few others and think wow swingers central. I know last year before I booked I was like this isn't for me till I came here and read what others said and basically took a chance and I will never regret it since this will be my second time and many more to come. If your single also don't be scared there are so many couples there that just want to party and don't care if your single or not. Think of it as spring break for older folks (and yes if your 30 your considered older now at least in the college kids minds) but you know I had just as much fun at 40 at TTR as I did when I was 20 and in the military and stationed in California (continues spring break there when had time off). I made more friends with couples then singles when I went last year and still chat to them off and on which is great having friends all over the world ( never know when you might want to travel somewhere where they are at and you need a place to stay or someone to show you around). So go and enjoy and don't be afraid to say Hi if you see someone there from this sight most will acknowledge you and accept you in their group and if your single (guys) don't be starring drooling over someones wife since you will be shunned away quickly. Yes I know most men know people will be looking expecially if the twins are out and they take that as a compliment but too much is too much at times. Another hint for people there the first time expecially if your single and want to meet up with some people is the second day you are there make reservations for around 6 to 8 people at the resturants for that night since most people will show up too late to make reservations and if you already got some it is a great way to get a group together and make friends right off. Mo- great thread IMO... we live here in tampa Fl and live within an hour of 3 nudist/swinger resorts -- caliente, paradise lakes and cypress cove... We would never consider going there as those are "lifestyle" places and wouldn't consider Desire as a vacation as well. We are just a couple who wants to let loose, meet great people, and enjoy...
I don't know if where you've booked really matters..I'm curious what everyone thinks though! My first trip and the cheapest, I booked garden view, regular room and they put me in a jacuzzi room...which I never realized til the next morning when I went out on the patio! duh!
We will be there FRI, SAT, SUN may 7,8, and 9--- wish it was a longer stay, we are then moving on to Cancun Palace for 2 nights friends. ***we are newbies any first time tips are much appreciated. T/Y. Short trip - 2 little ones at home to get back too.
