jim there are still 2 spots left on the bus for lower greenville st patricks day parade (on saturday march 13) and party which we very simply call, "poppy's magically delish st patricks inspired leprechaun birthday celebration & gay midget sensitivity/awareness convention parade" only two spots and i will save one of them for you and you can stay here at the house all you got to do is catch a plane so you dont have to miss this one food will include some of my homemade dublin coddle and im sure we will play some wild water volleyball after the parade see you in a couple few weeks rob
Man O Man I would love to come down and party with you guys, Unfortunately after taking my spur of the moment party trip to Daytona Beach in february, I have to save some loot for mexico in April....but im sure there will be more parties... The pics look like a lot of fun though..... Im sure there will be some shamrocks in the pool at some point lol... Thanks for the offer , ill suprise ya one day and make it down for a party..
Yes, let's talk about normal things..having a good time, vacation, relax..all that good stuff! Alot of what I read here makes me hesitate to book my next return trip. I keep thinking I want to relax, enjoy the sun, a couple drinks, a few laughs without kids screaming and wonder where would be a good place to go...:umbrella1:. I used to think TTR was the place. Does anyone think that the room they try to give you depends on which site you've booked? Usually I book on Orbitz but skoosh is sooo cheap.
:bash::bash: ok. we are as much fun(or more) as the next couple( no flaming. anyone that knows us will understand), but some of the posts are getting a little too much..... In my opinion what makes it so much fun is that there are a wide range of personalities and people. lets not scare people off... just my opinion, already had a couple that were looking to go with us back out because of something she read on this board. ( and she was usually the first one to flash her boobs or go topless at the lake) again JUST MY OPINION.:icon_cool::icon_cool:
Im not sure how they do it, I know ive always been told that they assign rooms the day before you get there, Cuz I have been calling and fighting with them for weeks now, cuz I am a member , yet this trip I booked through skoosh cuz it was just so cheap, that i couldnt rationalize the price difference just to get a bit of a better room, a seperate section of the beach and and a different menu, Im a beer drinking, wing eating guy, I dont need fancy, so i by passed my premier membership booked with skoosh, saved 900 bucks between the two of us...yet im trying to get near that section of rooms that I always have and they keep telling me they assign the day before you get there , no matter what...we shall see lol
I'm not sure how they do it either. Last trip, after a $20 tip, they took me to what I'm sure is the worst room in the place. I asked for quiet-the room overlooked a roof with air conditioners and industrial fans. And I was arriving a day late. And I had waited 3 hours. Never happened in my previous trips. I had never refused a room before. I'm usually pretty easy-maybe not beer but I've been known to love the wings at TTR(and my favorite waiter at the Tex Mex...he is soooo delightful!!!)

well the rooms are a little bigger and just a bit nicer, but like i said it wasnt worth spending the hundreds of extra dollars to get it, if thats tells ya anything lol.... I just liked that my room was in front of the sexy pool, so i would out the sliding doors and right on my left was the beach and right in front of me was the sexy pool and bar, so i didnt need to worry about pool chairs I could lounge on my patio and walk right over to the bar ....conveinance i guess lol....but sure I can make room for 4 or 6.....whoever is closest to the door has to get the drinks though haha
Good point Monique and it makes me think that our group's trip name "Swingers, Swayers, and Monogomaters" could potentially scare off a newbie or someone who might even not understand the nature of our group. So...for the record...if I may speak up for the group - the trip title is really about recognizing that we all come from different walks of life and we're not there to judge what that may be. All are accepted and we're just a group of vacationers that likes to party, hang out, do the Boobs Cruise etc. The title of the trip this year is nothing more than just a tongue-in-cheek title. Gin and I are happy that we met up with these guys on a trip last year and really look forward to seeing them all again. Bad thing for us, is that we live quite a ways away so we can't get to all the parties they throw. We also agree we've met some fantastic people on CancunCare as well as in person at TTR that we keep in touch with on a regular basis.
would certainly have scared me off lol i had about ten people say to me before we left on our first trip there "dude are you sure you and t are ready for this"? like are we ready to get into all that kinda "stuff" so early into our marriage..... t and i stayed up for weeks before we left on that first trip putting together plans for how we were going to handle situations that might come up - we laugh now but at the time was pretty serious and do agree had i read then what i am reading now may not have ever went and met all the great people we have met btw i found out on our first trip --------that there is a spot there for everyone - as long as you are not judgemental and just looking to have a fun crazy time rob
