I know you can't leave them there overnight. They stack the chairs and hose down the concrete. We left our too late once and we found them on the ground. I thought it was someone being a dick at first but then we figured out the staff was doing it so they could clean.

Actually, the initial post was about special (read: chair-saving) T-shirts being stolen from pool chairs. Beyond just saying "That sucks, Dude," there's no way explore that topic without discussing the saving of chairs.

Yes! And I believe this bears repeating:

It was our best trip ever to TTR. We meet so many good people and are planning future trips together outside of TTR. The only issue was the shirts being stolen and a guy using a Go-Pro in the pool. The biggest issue with Mr Go-Pro is security didn't go through his pictures/video but was doing to it others which I thought was odd. He told my husband he was a white band and pretty much could do what he wanted. WTH is that crap!

If it's that much of an issue to have a chair, make a short run to Wal-Mart and get the cheapest folding chair you can find, and bring it back to your room at the end of the day. BOOM! you've always got a chair. If it makes you feel better write your name on it!
I plan on being in the pool or the beach the whole time and will be too drunk to care who is sitting in what chair and for how long. Why did you go on vacation to stress out about stupid s@#t? Don't you get enough of that at home?
18 days til we leave the stupid s@#t behind!
Oh and btw, we won't steal your chair!

One of my favourite things to do at TTR..
reserving 20 chairs and then watch them

from what I have read, I don't think it's about the 'chair', its about someone taking the tops that were on the chair. Think if some one had taken them off and used the chair, but left the tops folded up near by there wouldn't be and issue. Basically a warning to keep an eye on your stuff,

Once again it's about STEALING not chair saving.
If I chose to get up and reserve our chairs that's up to us. BUT to steal that is just plain wrong. If you want to get up and save a chair more power to you. However when someone steals your things I'm sure it will be a whole different story!!!!
