I read yesterday that all premises over 80 people capacity should close down temporarily. But I suspect most places will ignore this unless they get an official closure notice. So I guess it depends on how strictly it will be enforced, which we can only wait and see on.

well that sucks for people that are there this weekend.....
hopefully that will make the govt feel that they have done something to stop the spread and everything will be back to normal by next weekend!!!
but i supposs if they keep them closed longer we will wait until next wed to change or reservations.

the larger clubs are shut down right now. The resort is sending groups to several open air clubs.

    Same Concern we have

That is the same concern we have. We do know there will probably be 50% less people than there would have been but throw in the bars being closed and we might think about postponeing. We'll just wait a few more weeks. Not scheduled to arrive for 3 weeks.

Any new talk about how long...........

Anything new on how the businesses have to stay closed in Cancun?

    Nevermind just read this:

Mexican Health Secretary Jose Angel Cordova said the virus that has killed 19 people in Mexico and sickened at least 506 apparently peaked here between April 23 and April 28. A drastic nationwide shutdown appears to have helped prevent the outbreak from becoming more serious, he said.

"The evolution of the epidemic is now in its declining phase," Cordova declared.

He said officials would decide Monday whether to extend the shutdown or allow schools and businesses to reopen on Wednesday.
