I'll probably be going solo now.. She's been acting nutzo lately, and i'm not taking her with me if she's going to act that way.. Don't want my trip to be ruined.. I think she'll back out anyway...

I found Oasis Cancun for around a little over $1300.. If it doesn't raise, i'm gonna try my best to get it when I can.

    Greta,

from Charleston, WV you can find the Oasis on Bookit.com for $1400+ including air, March 7-14 I believe.

They also offer a payment plan.

Of course, that rate is double occupancy. Going solo your best rate is gonna be hotel/air seperate.... alpharooms.com and gtahotels.com charge hotels rates by the room, not the person... that's how I booked last year. My air fare was really cheap, and I got the AI hotel room for $700 for peak week, Saturday to Saturday. That was for the room, so I could have booked 2 or 3 or 4 people in there and split the cost.

Not really smart business for an AI hotel to charge by room since cost to them is per person.

I booked a package. It was cheaper than booking air+hotel separately.

Smart business or not, it's better for the consumer.

The single supplement is ridiculous when booking most packages.
