I have noticed that the Gran Esmeralda Resort north of Playa is advertising heavily that they are only "1KM from Tres Rios Aquatic Park". Isn't the park still closed down???? I thought it had been bought by Sunset Hotels who are in process of building a resort there. Anyone know the current facts? :?:
Nope. Their website is still under construction. Per a mention on this craigslist item, the new resort at Tres Rios should open at least 12 months from now: http://dallas.craigslist.org/vac/267019036.html
