I read some where about them being able to get them all online through like you tube or something but I'm not sure!
Day 36 of Insanity is the hardest of any workout program I have ever completed. You do the fitness test, and then the first day of the Max workouts...back to back. Nothing gets me sore like that fitness test. Probably doesn't help that I am hypercompetitive with myself. Anyway, Insanity is great, and you will get results, but my only beef with it is sometimes the intensity is so high I'm not sure it's healthy, especially on days when your body really needs to recover. As a multiple marathon runner in years past, it doesn't feel right to push that hard when I'm that beat from the day before.
Well we took our second fit test this past Monday, here are the results: Maggie: Fit Test 1 (Day 1): Fit Test 2 (Day 15): Switch Kicks: 43 48 Power Jacks: 32 46 Power Knees: 45 67 Power Jumps: 20 27 Globe Jumps: 5 7 Suicide Jumps: 7 11 Push-Up Jacks: 0 5 Low Plank Oblique: 35 32 Carl: Fit Test 1 (Day 1): Fit Test 2 (Day 15): Switch Kicks: 55 67 Power Jacks: 36 55 Power Knees: 56 75 Power Jumps: 21 32 Globe Jumps: 6 11 Suicide Jumps: 9 14 Push-Up Jacks: 20 30 Low Plank Oblique: 20 37 Carl had a weight loss of 3.2 lbs, and Maggie had a weight loss of 1.5 lbs as of Day 15. Although the weight does not seem to be coming off quickly, Maggie can already feel the difference on how her clothes fit.
That is so awesome! I have been half heartedly doing insanity. I struggle with doing it all 6 days every week. I did 6 the first week and was able to do 4 the next, but in Week 3, I fell flat and only did 3. With that said, I have been doing the 17 day diet for 8 days now and have lost 7 pounds. :mnm: I could tell that doing insanity in combination with the diet is really working. The days that I didn't exercise - I didn't have a weight loss. Keep up the great work everyone! I want to make a life change, not just a vacation change. I just hope I don't gain it all back while on vacation at the end of June!:bootyshake: ~Jill~
Jill, Stick with it, just showing up is half off it! I have done P90x and insanity several times, and really like each one for different reasons. I used to hate getting up and working out or running, now I don't feel right if I don't. I used to hate running and it hurt my knees, now I run 5ks competitively. I lost 30 lbs, and am not a big guy! A warning, it gets addicting, find a work out buddy and help motivate each other and keep each other on track! Keep up the good work, it def, is a great lifestyle change! Craig
