We have went through Apple to get direct flights. No complaints. I agree, with limited vacation time, hate to waste it running around in an airport!
We connected the first time that we went to TTR to save money, but found that what we saved on travel cost, we just spent in the airport bars and resturants during the lay over. The trip took almost twice as long as well. Now we will only fly direct, and usually book through Apple or Funjet.
Bart and Annette, we had no idea that you could upgrade on Frontier. We will for sure being doing that next year.
Have went to St Louis to get earlier direct flights. Kansas City finally started doing the early directs when Frontier took over. Looked ahead to Jan/Fed 2013 and Funjet is now using Areomexico for nonstops. Sounds a little scary from the old Mexican Airline Allegra they used several years back. Any comments on Aeromexico?
We flew AeroMexico direct from STL last year. No issues. We usually book the funjet/apple for the direct flight.
fun jet for us last year no worries. Customs cleared easily. Long lines. Grrr. We ready to party. She packed too much. Damn huge ass Louis Vitton. Lol
Hey Bart, I got the upgrade like you suggested. It will be nice getting to the outdoor bar at the airport earlier! Can't wait for that luke warm mexican beer!! Nov 9th can't come soon enough! If anyone else is flying Frontier out of St Louis on Nov 9, let me know!
