Fast Eddie's Bonair is 20 minutes for us, and a must see for a good time. I am always surprised at how many first timers are there. Seems like someone is always asking us questions like where is the restroom. I thought everyone in the STL area knew about Bonair.

I would have bought a round or two. We were there last Friday and Sunday. Great food, cold beer, and great staff.

The Beagle is one of my regular hangouts, along with Tony's downtown.

okay...

Dan and I went to the Cardinals game with my buddy Andy. Then we headed over the Mississippi River to Illinois to drink at this Fast Eddie's place.. heard it was 'legendary' with good eats and coldest beer anywhere and live music.. etc etc... we walk in before midnight, the band plays the last song, the waitresses are wiping tables, and the place is empty.

Legendary from noon til 11 pm or midnight, ordinary at best after midnight. We were there at noon on Sunday and not an empty seat in the bar.
