sprint? reception?

hey everyone, i have sprint.. and i was wondering if i'd be able to get reception in cancun.. any of you have sprint? do your phones work?

 

I have sprint and used my phone while I was in Cancun last year. You first have to call customer service and have them program your phone for international use. Do this ASAP! Just tell them you are going to Cancun and want to use your phone while you are there. It is free to set it up, but I think calls are something like $1/min. My phone worked great though, good reception.

2 years ago when i went i had nextel which is sprint and i went to my local nextel/sprint store and switched on the international package they offer for the month and then at the end of the month switch it off, ure better off doing that than paying like a dollar a minute

yeah, thanks! i just got off the phone with sprint.. installed the update.. they said text messaging isn't guaranteed to work! weird.
