Alright So after some disucussions in an earlier post it seems that we have some interest in a Cancuncare get together in Niagara Falls. Without solicitation it appears that we could have 12 groups as a minimum for a weekend in the Falls. I went ahead and e-mailed a hotel in Niagara Falls http://www.cairncroft.com/ and asked them for some pricing on say the weekend of May 15,16 or alternatively June 5 and 6th, for 10 to 15 couples and possibly more, as well as perhaps the rental of a meeting room. I got a response of 139.00 C$ for the May weekend or 129.00 C$ for the second weekend. A meeting room would be 250.00 for the Friday night or 500.00 for all day Saturday. We have stayed at this hotel a few times, it has an interior 2 story courtyard that faces a pool and some hot tubs as well as an interior bistro bar and an attached dance bar. There are plenty of other hotels in Niagara Falls, many down by the Casino and prices ranging from about 80.00 C$ to whatever you want to pay. My hotel is just an example. The question is, can you post if you have any interest in doing this, what you would like to do if you come (sight see, touristy stuff, stay in the hotel, casino or the shows with the casino, peeler bars, excellent restaurants,etc.,), a preferred time to attend, how many you can comitt to, if this hotel and cost is fine or if you have another one in mind. Let's see what we can pull together and we'll go from there.

Although it's not TSR related, I think it's fair that the bulk of the interest is from TSR offenders... so moved out of the official forum, but now here in the chatter forum. I left Embassy Suites an email last night. I wasn't looking that far out, as I'm not able to confirm much outside of a two week window. As a starting point, I asked for the first weekend of March, approx 12-15 rooms and was told that I'd be looking around $55/room/night under their current promo. Each booking offers a $45 Keg gift card... so if we were to make individual bookings for a Friday & Saturday, we would be entitled to two gift cards, 1 per night.
There are quite a few of us in and around the Falls so this may work out pretty well. I'll check with the boss and see what she thinks, but I would say we would be interested.
Both Steve and I would like to attend this event , it doesn't matter to us which hotel it is... Lets get a count on the number of people and take it from there. I am also more than willing to help out with the organization and planning... so let me know whatever it is I can do ! Cheers, Bernadette and Steve

After reading all the replies I think we need a poll, May 15-16 th Or June 5-6 th If you are interested in attending please post which month is best for you. At the end of February we can tally the numbers for each month and set the date...highest percent interested will rule! Cheers, Bernadette
