well............ for the woman, yes, they are looking for good looking people to throw in the crowd for tv, its a bad thing to do, but thats how they roll! At least in past years when they have taped.

QuEsTioN Okay, Im not tryin to cheat the system or anything But I still have my Oasis wristband from last year... They didnt cut it or ask for it back or anything....I know they change the colors, but I had an Under 18 bracelet (ew i know it sucked) do they change that color too? Could I use it to pretend Im staying there to better my chances of getting a part of the acction ?
this isn't true at all. they hand out tickets when the clubs let out. they give them out all over cancun for free. you just have to be lucky enough to get them (mtv tickets). the line isn't a pick and choose of who they let in, they just make sure you don't have cameras/camera phones on you. no pictures aloud. they also do the typical search for weapons and stuff. if you have a ticket, you get in. they really need a large crowd to make the show complete. also, usually the last day they film is when they have their big stars. the reason they do this is so that they can garuntee a crowd so the filming doesn't look empty. in 05 we had tickets to the first 3 days but to get tickets to the 4 day (with 50 cent, paris hilton, ludacris, etc) you had to wait until the end of filming one day, which sucked because you had to wait there all day and just wait and wait until they were ready to film. then when they were done, you reward for being patient was tickets to the big show. if they didn't promise something to the crowd, eventually everyone would leave. they need it to look crowded so they play this game.
