Ok. Got bad news today.. Cancun is out for me... March is a no go.. I'm still going to try to save up enough money to be able to go in May though.. Keeping my fingers crossed...
March 10-17.... Me and a few friends are going to stay at Oasis Cancun March 10-17th..unless someone lets us know of a better all inclusive resort to party at...
We Wanna Party Hard 6 single guys 21 - 25. Experienced drinkers and well...the ladies love us too. Were thinkin of Blue Bay Getaway, but it seems like it could be a couples nudist resort. Nude is ok, but were lookin for single girls to party with. Is blue bay good or should be try to get in at Oasis Cancun or something?
Re: We Wanna Party Hard First of all, BBG is NOT all couples. And second of all, BBG is NOT a nudist resort. It is topless optional but if you try and parade around nude you'll find yourself looking for another place to saty....with no refund from BBG. But saying that, I would tell you that at ages 21-25 you will be the youngest at BBG. It is also NOT a spring break resort. The miniumum age to stay at BBG is 21 and they purposely do not bill it as a spring break resort. In fact, they only allot a certainn number of rooms to Brerakers. So if you're looking to be with tons of people your own age I'd suggest a resort other than BBG.
Thanks for the info Karen. I searched all over this website and it was never really clear about the age mix at the hotel. I didn't really mean to imply it was a nudist resort. I was looking through the whos been naked at BBG thread so it made it seem like nudity was commonplace at BBG. It seems like the atmosphere, food and everything is really awesome at BBG, and from what I read it seems like hotels like Oasis Cancun don't like breakers so they don't get treated as well. Deserving sometimes i'm sure, but we want to go to a hotel where we can have fun, meet cool people. 6 single guys, of course we want to meet girls too, but we are all professional guys and were looking for somewhere we can relax, have fun and get away from the 9-5 lives we usually live. In your opinion would it be a good hotel, or can you suggest another hotel that we can have a good time and not be treated like some of the hardcore breakers? Thanks
Well, you certainly won't be labeled as anything at BBG. They are clamping down on people who get out of hand and lately have ejected some people from the resort for unacceptable behavior but I really don't thinkthe normal guest has to worry about that. It's just the ones who are way over the top if you know what I mean. I'm heading there next month for my 60th trip so obviously I agree with you that the atmosphere is awesome. If you're looking to hang out and relax but have some fun too then BBG might be for you. But the beach isn't the best so if a great beacjh is important to you then BBG won't do. I really wouldn't worry about the age thing. Everyone parties with everyone else at BBG. Age just doesn't seem to be a factor. And you most certainly won't be the only group of English guys there. As for night life, well, no matter what you might read in the BBG Lounge, BBG really doesn't have much of a nightlife...at least along Spring Break standards. But, the activity staff will take you to a different club each night. All the resorts do this. As for the naked part of it, well, there are some games that are "R" rated but lately they seem to have more "PG" games than "R" ones. So there's very little nudity. I'm sure I'll have my membership in th BBG Loung revoked for saying this but some of the repeaters tend to over egggerate the wildness of BBG. It use to be wilder than it is now. It's tamesd down a bit but is still lots of fun in my opinion...but, of course, I am prejudiced where BBG is concerned. Hope this helps a bit in making your decision. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
