Heather, Stacia almost exclusively does the spray tan thing now. Avoids tanning beds completely. Does the layout thing some, but that's primarily to rile me up so we get our frolic on during the hot weather days. She goes to a place down her called Malibu Tan, but there's nothing special about them. All of the beter tanning salons will have the spray. The tech on the spray itself is much, much better now than it used to be. One bit of advice, the first time you go in, make that at least a month before you go on your trip. Deliberately opt for the darkest tanning spray they have, just to test it on your skin. Not for the reason that most people think (It'll turn me orange!), but to see how your skin reacts and colors in response tot he spray. Stacia's first times going, she was afraid to go for the ultra dark, but she was consistently disappointed in her results. I pointed out the obvious solution (for a year, literally) and finally she tried it. Wha'Bam, instant golden delicious, awesome all over tan. No problem. I felt smart.
