I stayed at the Avalon Grand last year... you'll need a wristband to get in. probably same with the other place.
Soccer/football is by far there number one sport and same with all south america and the number of travelers from UK is up each year so theres deffinatly going to be the demand . so its on all the channels even in your hotel room you will just have to contend with the crazy commentary where the guys shout goooooal for 10 mins ahah all the bars in party zone had english premiership on because the bar staff love it lol
I read your post about a sports bar. If you bet on sports, or even if you dont, in the Kukulcan Mall is a place called Play City. It has slot machines, and when you walk in, walk to the right and there is a bunch of televisions. You can ask them (look for Heidi) to put on literally ANY game you want. They are so nice there. Put $100 on your favorite team and enjoy the game/boxing match. Play City is located in the mall on the second floor, right next to chocolate city. amazingggg
Are you talking about the bar in the basement? I got in without a wristband. Now I think about it, nobody checks for wristband there. Remember I went to the restaurant with you guys and had to ask them to take my money. LOL.
