We're taking the advice of others and doing TTR for three nights, then DRM for three. We've heard this is a great way to cool down from the wild times at TTR and to "ramp up" to some of the shenanigans at DRM. Guessing we'll feel like we didn't get enough time at either place.
I hear you, but the coolest people on earth are at... both resorts! If you don't leave one set of the coolest, you're letting the other set down! *snort* We've never been on a trip to TTR or DRM... or even the one trip to DP for that matter, during which we didn't meet a few people with whom we continue to stay in touch with since.
We are doing 5 at TTR and then 2 at DRM. First time to DRM, and just figured if the party isn’t as wild at DRM , that we’d be ok with a couple days of relaxation to end our trip.
After the trip, check back in with your thoughts, that would be cool. It seems our way of thinking (based on current poll results) is in the minority. Finishing with TTR, after starting at DRM. Here's another related question which that just prompted: Do people "feel" like the party at DRM is that much more crazy, and full of shenanigans (perfect euphemism) than that at TTR? Sex, just for sex's sake, doen't click "crazy" for us, I think is the thing.
We did a “split trip” in 2017 when TTR was closed for reno & it worked out well. This July we’re starting out at Secrets The Vine, then transferring to TTR for an epic finish. L
Just got back. We did DRM first then TTR. It was awesome. However, on previous trips we did TTR first and finished at DRM. Given that DRM is more relaxed during the day we would finish there. TTR is a 14-16hr/day party. DRM is only 9-10...haha which allows a bit more rest before heading home.
Waiting at the airport to head home.... we did 5 nights at TTR, then 2 nights at DRM. Definitely glad we did TTR first- we were ready for a bit of relaxation and quiet at DRM. We wont be returning to Desire RM, but if we decide to try Desire Pearl, we'd do it at the end of the trip again.
Would you mind advising ad to why you will not be returning to DRM? If you prefer to not air it in public please PM as we are deciding if to scab on either RM or Pearl for our next TTR trip Paul
