    Indian Cooking Club

My wife has suggested that some of the posters who like to cook, and eat, Indian Food, but have not gone through the traditional ritual of preparing the spices for cooking, rather than using mixes, might enjoy an afternoon of watching/helping her do it, through the grinding, blending and frying processes involved. She suggests this type of event goes better with ample supplies of wine! Samples of whatever gets cooked that afternoon, for the "cooks," afterwards.

When she's done this before, our apt has then smelled of Indian Food for at least a day, and the neighbors, picking up but not recognizing the scents, must have wondered what we were up to!
