You are correct. When there is uncertainty in the economy (of any country), demand for gold and US dollar goes up. That's one of the main reasons why US dollar is stronger against almost all currencies in recent months, except for yen (cause there is a big demand for people to unwind their previous carry trades). And yes, can one of the moderators move this to a new thread?
Instead of spending money on 4 pairs of swimmings shorts for the holiday, thinking about investing in 4 pairs of Speedoes. Swimmings shorts = £20 x 4 = £80 Speedoes = £8 x 4 = Sexy fun, quick drying, £32 of awesome which don't take much space in the suite case. That's a saving of like £48! I know what I would choose. :wink: (I beginning to sound like a salesman now, time to stop. Happy holidaying people) M

Unless you were taking the pi$$ for a day I would not feel comfortable approaching or being approached by a guy wearing one. The word EGO springs to mind for me, usually men with an unusally high and greatly unwarranted sense of self tend to think they look good in them, in reality there would be a very select few people in the entire world who can pull them off, we're talking only a few in a million.
