I own a Dayspa in the U.S. and tipping is usually between 10% - 15% but I have seen some of my employees receive more. I don't know how they operate in Mexico. I would just ask when you are booking your reservation. then you can base what you give on how you felt about the service. But definitely tip them something because I'm sure they don't get paid much down there and it's a lot of hard work on their part...
For them that would be a very good tip, maybe more than they made all week in their pay check. A waiter once showed me his check for 2 weeks after deductions it was 3 dollars and some change. Terry
oh my! It was like that in the Dominican Republic.. I brought the maids all kinds of perfume, and shampoo.. My maid made out really good the week we went. We probably gave her about $60 for the week.. I feel so bad for these people..
