I would totally agree with merging Nice Shoes and the Alternative Bar into a Night Club as Nice Shoes is very small even for the shows / activities that currently have. This area could become the night spot when it rains and keep Paty O's for the good weather nights. I DO NOT agree that they should build to seven stories. We do not like to stay at resorts where it takes an elevator to get to your room. Having more people also adds to the frustration of NOT being able to get a chair around the sexy pool. Just a few thoughts from a couple who LOVED their first visit of 12 days at Temptation.
Couldn't agree more. The interaction between guests is what makes this place so great. Next thing we know we will be checking the colour of wristbands before making friends while grabbing a drink at the bar :-( Half the couples I meet up with down there are premier - the other half are not. What's a girl to do. Regardless of the fact that it is not necessarily cost effective for Canadians to 'buy in' (cheaper to buy a package deal) I would not marry TTR either. Heading out on fourth trip and already anticipate a 5th but I don't trust management.
I am also noticing an increasing division between Premier and non Premier at the hotel and, as a a consequence, an increasing resentment of each other.
As a member I hereby appoint myself as an ambassador to the non-member population. I will imbibe spirits with you and take part in your 'activities'. And I just ran out of clever things to say lol. The reality is that while I have the benefits of being a member about the only ones I really like are the better price usually, a better room (ocean view yay) and the robe and slippers. I can't tell you how many times at the end of a day in the pool I've chilled on my balcony just in the robe enjoying the day. So please don't hate me for having a gold band on, please?
Well it has been evident on here for 6 months along with anti TTR divisiveness. The emergence of GOV has become the great salvation for some, and an almost spitting on TTR
It is really all about the white towels and the comfy slippers, which were not in my room at NY's. Had to ask for them.
So sad but true. The attacks have gotten personal. When non-members talk against Members seating areas , we are not talking about Members but about TTR's PREMIER POLICY'S. Not all but some of them got screwed, so its like rubbing salt in a wound for them. Some just can't keep it separate. I have never talked against Members but some of the response and rude remarks would tend to imply that I have. My response to the Time Share People at the front desk will be,,''When the segregation stops , I will listen "
GOV is an alternative, not a salvation, for those of us less than hopelessly devoted to TTR. Montezuma was the great equalizer between members and non-members last June. And I know equal opportunity viral infections can happen anywhere on vacation....blah, blah. TTR was slow to respond, and then it was deny, deny, deny. We had our own rude experience with front desk staff and the pool was slimy. The bay at TTR is not lovely for swimming, so yeah, we're looking forward to GOV. I still like TTR; I just didn't drink the Kool-Aid.
