The last time we were in Cancun one of the bartenders me met said that Cancun was getting a pro soccer and baseball team. Just wondered if anyone has any info on either.
I know there is a baseball team but not surre if they are pro or not. There is a pro soccer team here now. They're called Atlante and actually won the National championship for the first half of the season.
We have a pro baseball team in the sense that they play nationally within Mexico. The Tigres play again mid March at the stadium here in Cancun.

I don't remember anyone posintg last year who was a player and I was quite into it then. I don't think the schedule has come out yet 15th march rings a bell for the first game which is against Yucatan.
I did a search it was this guy aaamigo23: Like I mentioned not sure if he is a player but I think he's connected to the club in some way as he helped get the players involved in the kids hospital visit for Nancy.
We have a palco and attend al the soccer games in Cancun, today we will go to see Atlante VS Atlas and they give away pappers with all the seasson games and I will post them tomorrow.
The baseball team is professional and they are the Tigres. Aaamigo is a pro player who used to play for Isla Holbox and now plays for Cozumel. A very nice guy and a good friend. Ruben is his name. You might spot him weekends in La Taberna in his Holbox jersey.
