I love playing beach volleyball, but I remember Manuel laughing his ass off and mimicking my technique, or lack thereof. I only played when the calibre of play was low, or otherwise the jocks on my team would get pissed at me for balling things up.
Manuel.... that' the guy running it before! Couldn't remember his name. He tried to get a game going but didn't try hard enough in my opinion. Well come play this time and if anyone mimicks your technique you can have your better half slap them around.
I can serve (a girlie underhand) pretty well (read: lands somewhere in the court), and I can do justice to a bikini, but that's the extent of my beach volleyball game. Oh, and I can do shots on breaks and keep playing without getting noticeably worse. I guess if you're already at the bottom, you can't fall very far. Craig is probably going to chime in here soon to confirm that Manuel's mockery was justified, as he's seen me in action.
Lol well sounds like you qualify for beach volleyball at TTR so let's have some fun! Anyone who can do shots on break is a rockstar in my opinion
I didn’t notice if Manuel was still there in August or November. I assume not as I don’t recall seeing him but wasn’t on the beach much. He is gone right?
Loved playing volleyball with Oompa Loompa (that's Manuel for the Newbies) unfortunately he wasn't brought back after the reno. He's working the pirate ship now. I will be up for games everyday I'm there May 9-13 and have been known to grab a ball to round people up to play if the Playmakers aren't functioning well after a pool game involving them drinking.
Funny you mention this. I bring it up at my games at home and nobody goes for it, so disappointing. Also for the first time in 6 visits one of the Playmakers used the Boobie Rule the last time I was there. She was new to the resort and I don't think she knew that she wasn't supposed to. Far be it from me to complain...
