So how clean is the water in the Sexy Pool?

I agree, this topic is way over done. The cloudiness is from sunscreen mostly. Urine is over 90% water, so 10% of what might be in there, diluted by the 1000's of gallons of chlorinated water is not much cause for concern.
Haven't you watched "Shawshank Redemption" ?? If he can crawl 500 yards thru that, you can spend a few hours in the sexy pool !! Remember you're in Mexico, the water is not supposed to be pure !

 

Really? some of you people are talking about comparing a pool, which is generally given a shock treatment daily in the morning hours, to the ocean?

OK, reality check here, y'all. Biology lesson too, maybe.

People pee in pools. But, the pool is chlorinated. People also loose/slough off LOTS of sunscreen in the pool, too. Even so it is SO much cleaner than the ocean.

Think this thought... "My name is Billy the fish, I ate a while back and it was awesome. My buddy Gills gave me a fantastic fish beer and I was full, but now I have to go to the.... bathroom?" Nah. Fish go right there. Literally trillions of sea creatures live, breath, swim, poo and wee in that ocean, and have been doing so since there was life in the sea.... and people think the ocean is clean. Ack. C'mon. Besides, urine is sterile. Who cares. Whatever.

 

The Sexy Pool water these hands and body have been in far worse places. I was a auto repair technician for 35+ years, I would be more worried about touching the steering wheel, shifter and door handles on some of the cars I have worked on, it's disgusting what some people can do to a car before it's first service. Glad I don't do this any more for a living.

Go to your local water treatment plant. They pull water out of a river, filter it, treat it with chlorine and pipe it to your house. I would wager that much more chlorine is used in the Sexy Pool than the water filtration plant.

Definitely going to be a dirty pool but I wouldn't expect it to be that different from any other resort pool...maybe a little but whatever.

I've been in far more disgusting places . Looking forward to it.
