Smoking Rooms @ Cancun Temptation

Is there smoking rooms at this particular resort. I noticed the one in Los Cabos that's opening in Feb is non-smoking rooms with designated areas. Is it the same for this one?

I do not believe there are any smoking rooms at TTR Cancun. All rooms have a balcony.

 

Ill be smoking in mine no question! haha

 

If not smoking, places usually don't say anything about on the balcony. The place I stayed at in 2008 was a non smoking room, but I just walked out on my balcony, and no problem.

 

We just got back, after the first day I guess the maid noticed the cup of water with butts so she left a couple clean ashtrays every day after. Nobody told us it was non-smoking in the room?

 

It may pay to be cautious.

I have no idea about Temptations, but many hotels have started to implement "smoking fees" where if the cleaning people report any evidence of smoking, they will charge you a surcharge to your bill at checkout for "cleaning" the room.
