I agree with LLV too... Quick points.... We have the smoking ban here now...I am happy with it.. I don't mind going outside for a smoke..But hate when I go outside and have the NON smokers coughing at me and giving me dirty looks..Uh yeah I am outisde what miore can I do...You can't win.. I like NOT smelling of smoke from the bars and clubs Do miss being able to smoke when I am playing in tournaments...Nerves are shot.. BUt plan on quitting soon enouhg..
smoking of anykind is stupid in my opinion....but hey thats why we have opinions right? oh well i used to dip all the time, but i quit that at least....

Smoking and bars go hand in hand. I am an advocate of smoker's rights, and bars have been smokey for the past 500 years. I personally smoke cigs and chronic and enjoy every last puff. lung cancer in 20 years, maybe, but its my choice. A non smoking bar woulnt bother me if the weather is nice outside, but if the temperature is 5 degrees (fahrenheit) ill be pissed if i have to go out. Non smoking bars would never fly in my city, i think about 80% of people i know at least smoke when they drink
I do not smoke at all, and in Edmonton there has been a ruling, since July 1st to ban smoking in bars, resturants, patios, coffee shops or any public area. This has made a big difference, for those that do not like the smell. I wake up in the morning and does not feel like i went to the bar .
