Sounds like they weren't there for a holiday but to ruin everyone else's and look for trouble, total understandable what your reaction is towards that incident, but like i said before not everyone single young man is looking for trouble.
Ingram, If you describe your buddy to be VERY BIG, I would hate to see what would have happened if you did not hold him back from getting at the punks, and punks are what it sounds like these guys were.... Welsh, I have been following this thread as a single guy who is going to the resort with a female friend. We did our homework in looking at the different resort options before booking and if we were younger, Oasis may have been the better option but we are 30 and over and found this resort to be what we were looking for, mostly couples +30s crowd. I don't think Donald or anyone is anti-Brit or against young single guys, just the experience with "groups" has not been good and shared by many who have shared their view. I too also agree from a guys perspective that it can be easier to be brought into activies and social groups as a solo guy versus a larger group from my experiance in partying in different places. So my recommendation is go, have a good time, make some friends and show the resort what young fun respectable brits can bring to a party, as I have friends who are... hope it works out, and if it doesn't for some reason, it was a learning experiance and just don't be the guys to give yourselves a bad name. Cheers
