Singles! will we fit into the ttr atmosphere?

I agree with you on this one. For some reason, and I posted this in the March Roll Call, British travel companies sell TTR as a Spring Break Party Hotel. Expect there to be many Single, British guys this Feb/March

 

People have just answered your first question honestly by what they have seen from your fellow Britts while at TTR. But if what you write above is the way you gentleman are then you will have a great time. Go, See, Enjoy.....Cheers :icon_surprised:

The owner of this site is a brit, so if any one was anti brit, he wouldnt let them on the boob cruise lol.....dont worry . it is only groups of disrespectful men that people have a problem with and they could be any nationality.

 

Met some lovely Brits there last summer that will be friends for life. If your goal is to party and have a good time this is definitely the place. TR of TRACO

Interesting, so it would appear male groups have been the problem from where ever? At the same time though it seems if there is a male group, it will most likely be from the UK. Due to how they are selling the resort here ?? Is that about right ?
When i booked to come to this resort myself, i read through tripadviser for a lively or entertaining hotel. This one came up a number of times! So this resort was not marketed at me in any way by a travel agent. I will check out how the travel companies are marketing this resort here now and let you all know.
I worded my previous post carefully, which perhaps made it sound like i was a male travelling alone. I will be coming in march with my wife and although she is approaching the dreaded 40 mark, always gets a lot of male attention if you know what i mean!!!!
I am used to this, but didnt want to walk in to a place full to the brim with single men, and a load of trouble to go with them. We dont go away for that and it drive both of us mad.

this thread started as an enquiry about single travellers, so it did sound like you were single.. the resort is probably 80% couples..20% singles.. and the odd large male group issue is a rare event not a norm... in over 20 visits I have never seen a problem, you are your wife are going to have an awesome visit, make sure you sign up for a Boobs Cruise with steve xx great way to make friends...:sunny:fellow brit xx

 

Well being a Brit, when I was booking up my holiday we just wanted somewhere that fit our budget really, the initial idea was the hotel wouldn't matter because we'd always be out partying.

We were looking at a couple of family resorts and then the women showed us this place, when she said it was 21+ only we thought it'd be perfect - no kids around! She said that she did have to warn us that some of the shows included adult content - No problem at all to us. But that was all.

So basically I think a lot of young Brits book this hotel knowing it's over 21s, some adult content in shows and think it's going to just be the ultimate "spring break"-type holiday that we get brought up knowing Cancun for. We aren't told it's mostly couples or a bit of an older crowd but that's what you usually find in over 21 resorts. If I was told it was mostly a couples resort I wouldn't have ended up booking it as I'd have felt out of place and after finding this forum I would've been kicking myself because now I know it's going to be the best holiday I've ever had!

Well, as long as you can avoid acting like a knobhead going after someone else's wife/gf who eoesn't want the attention. That can be a problem, but there's lots of available attention if you are pleasant and courteous if that's your unstated goal.

This has seemed to turn into a debate hha..listen guys we are not going to cause a problem and the end of the day its a place to drink, eat, meet some great people and maybe an hour or two of sleep haha..we are going to have a great time and just hope to party with some cool people and not fuck anyone else's up.

 

We were there 2 years ago beginning of April and there was a group of 30 or so dudes that crashed Temptations. It was annoying as hell as they kept seeing who could be the biggest idiot.

Cannonballs into the hot tub area, tackling each other all the time on the deck of the sexy pool.

Didn't ruin the trip by any means...but what I dont understand is that back when I was single I wouldn't want to go to a resort where most guests are couples!!!
