Avoid the first night curse- do not even sit down on the bed while your'e getting ready for dinner or to go to Bash that first night. Do not do too many shots, especially your first night there.
Read lots of stuff on these forums. There are some threads especially for newbies.
Join in all the reindeer games!
And the obvious one, find Spicy! I'll give you a tour, introduce you around, answer any questions. I'm known as the welcoming committee

 

where was your advice when I was there for the first time in November . I’m a victim of the first night curse.

 

I try to keep as many people "up" as I can but I cannot be everywhere ;-)
