Hello! We will be there at the same time. I have done a number of trips now as a single (and divorced) woman. In my experience it's much more anxiety provoking traveling the world as a woman alone but I know FOR SURE I meet many more people (single or otherwise) as a single person than a couple. You appear to be a very attractive open minded guy and i KNOW you will have fun! We'll see you at the pools..the bar...the Boobs Cruise...
And I have to add...I'd much rather play with a single dude than a douchy trashy couple! Just sayin'!!!

This is our first time going to TTR and my wife is a little like you. A bit shy and quite at first, but once the liquor starts flowing, that other side of her comes out! You'll be fine as a single guy there I'm sure. By the way, she wanted to know if you like to eat Asian? I think she meant food? Hmm I better go back and ask her what she meant! Ha, see, its going to be fun!!!
just be respectful too the ladies, introduce yrself too ppl and have fun and you'll be kicking yrself for only booking for 2 days. you'll be wanting to stay longer
I'm pretty shy in general and I went solo this past feb for the first time doing anything solo. I won't even go to a bar back home solo let alone mexico for 8 days. Let me tell you it was a blast. I really not outgoing enough to get into the games, maybe my next trip but everyone is super friendly. Get to the pool have a couple shots say hi to some people and you'll have a blast.
