I met Captain Blue Eyes on my first trip to the resort, and we've been friends ever since. He even came my wedding! Just be normal and you'll be fine. Slinking around the edge of the dancefloor while staring at wives is a no-no. Participate in the Cancuncare theme nights (which are not always the same as the resort's standard themes). That's a good way to identify people who are Cancuncare members that you might have chatted with here, or just a way to meet Cancuncare people in general. We are a welcoming community, so bring a sense of humour (which you obviously have), and be low key, and you'll fit right in. Have a great trip!

Thanks to everyone who responded to my newbie post and those kind members who messaged me privately. It's clear I've found an amazing group of people. I booked a trip for the end of the month when I had some time off. Hope to see some of you on 4-27. I will make it my goal to leave the reserved version of me back in The States! The respectful version of me will, of course, be hanging out there the whole time.
