we choose TTR as well because of this this was supposed to quote lol messed it up as we are looking forward to hanging out with single men while there. As a matter of fact, we chose TTR over Desire for this trip because singles are welcomed at Temptation...

At Temptation, this is pretty much the way to guarantee that people will think you are a creeper. Don't do that.
well the being yourself is a good thing but keeping to yourself would end up making your vacation suck a lot
I met one of my closest friends (a single guy) on my first trip to TTR. He is now a friend of both my husband and I, and even travelled to our destination wedding. Stepping out of your comfort zone and participating in the theme nights will help a lot, as CCC members will see you as a fun person, not as a single guy. I travelled single on my first trip, and it was really hard to put on a sexy or goofy theme night outfit and walk into the party by myself, but people will immediately smile to see you dressed up and next thing you know, you're in the middle of a conversation. Sometimes the bigger CCC groups set day themes around the pool (this April is an example), and wearing swimwear that fits the theme is a good way to break the ice and connect with other CCC members, e.g., orange swimsuit day, international day (show your country's colours), etc.
Thanks for this thread. I'm a first time single solo traveler. I'm a little nervous but everyone in these post just seem to be so amazing, I can't wait! I'll be there March 11-14th. If anyone here is going those dates...first round is on me
I am with you. I was coming with another and that fell through. I paid for a trip and plan to come. March 25-30. My ex girlfriend raves about Temptation and that’s why I booked it here. I asked her about it being weird if I came alone and she said no. Her advice was be the social butterfly you are and you’ll have a blast. So I feel you, all new to me but I’m just gonna run with it. Hope to meet some cool people.
I wonder why the most single guys are at TTR in March?? Even those who are not Spring-Breakers. Interesting phenomenon.
Ya, I guess it makes sense that you'd reach your breaking point by March. Anyway, be low key but friendly with everyone, participate in at least a few theme nights, don't be an jackass when you're drunk, and you'll be fine.
