We always carry a can of Lysol and spray the heck out of the A/C vents. The vents look like they are never cleaned.
Mine had a clean filter in it, but the mold grows in the exchanger and drip pan. to spray it you have to remove the filter.It just clips down

Hope you get better soon . We always take Lysol and drown ourselves in alcohol (to kill germs) while we are there. It really sux to be sick on vacation . I agree with you about the staff . Once you get away from the front desk and timeshare assholes you meet the friendliest hard working people . They will go out of their way to help you have a great time .
I've felt like in the past that the humidity there (Cancun) was less than in Florida !! It just feels that way to me . IMHO I don't think any of their rooms have carpet in them . The rooms we've stayed in are all tile and after they clean you can smell they use a lot of bleach . I also felt like the rooms in the Premier section weren't as clean as the other rooms we've stayed in !!
