Shrimp Bucket

When we were there in June it looked like the Shrimp Bucket was getting ready to reopen. Does anybody know the status? It was always a favorite of our group, as we stay across the street at the Casa Maya.

 

Shrimp Bucket is not longer around, Carlos & Charlies (the same owners) open it again with another name.

I have not visit it so can not say to much about menu, prices, concept, etc.

 

Ana, it has a different name? It is El Tumbaburros or So Good! :?:

 

I believe it's now called "Captain Charlie's".

 

No sure, I will pay attention tomorrow when coming back to home.

 

It is called Captain Charlies but has nothing to do with Grupo Anderson it is being run by the owner of the Marina and Concession, He used to rent to GrupoAnderson/Carlos and Charlies and he is trying out the restaurant business now.

 

bummer. we'll miss the Shrimp Bucket.

 

Yep that is the name now.. We where going to try but did not.. We did Bubba Gump instead it was good
