appointment set!! On December 28th I'll be sitting in the artist's chair getting the black outline work done. I'll set another appointment soon after for the color application. My design will still look similar to what I posted earlier, but with a little tweaking its finally exactly what I want. And I can't wait to get it done!! So, the big reveal should be around late January-ish. Wish me luck! And send gentle, painfree thoughts my way!
Sorry for the long delay! My tattoo is finally finished! It took 3 sessions over the past couple of months, the last being this past Friday. Did it hurt, you ask? Holy F*@#!!!! YES!! Hipbones, ribs, side of my waist....PURE TORTURE. But I'm proud to say, I didn't cry and I didn't pass out. I let out a few choice expletives though. I think I earned that right. It took a few twists and turns design-wise but I'm happy with how it turned out. Which is good since it's permanent! And despite the pain, I would do it again. Anyway, I'm letting it heal for a week or so, and then I'll post a pic. Stay tuned....
Very. Nice Tatto ..my wife just got done last week 8 hours of Japanese. Cherry. Blossom. To cover one of lip Tatto. On her cheek. And cherry blossom comes from the back and on hip through. Her waist. Looks. Very nice and feminine. Can't wait till heels so I can take a picks.
I can't wait to see it. The design is gorgeous! Part of mine is on my hipbone and that part hurt. My daughter got her apple blossom on the top of her foot. Ouch!
Dani is in the process of having her big side piece finished up... when its done we will post pictures. As for me, well if you met me in September you know I am easy to pick out in a crowd in the sexy pool. I have a totem pole that goes from shoulder blade to shoulder blade from the nape of my neck down to the small of my back. I am at work so I really don't have access to pics. I also have my kids names on me, and some work on both of my arms. I started my 18th birthday with a Texas Flag and my art work has grown from there. The most recent piece we/I got is sand script down our ribs, hers says " I belong with you" mine says " You belong with me" although we joke and I tell people that mine says "You belong to me" . This is Crissy's side piece just finished near the end of 2012. It incorporates her astrological sign (Aries - The Ram) throughout. Very sexy! This was done entirely free-hand by the artist! This is my half sleeve just about finished, may still need a little more touch up at some point. It is a cover up to two other pieces. Many people mistake this for being a statement of patriotism, but it actually represents my level of frustration with the way our government in the US operates nowadays. When you see it up close, that is reflected in her facial expression, the ominous clouds behind her, and the anarchy symbol on her tablet. next up for me, the other arm!!
Zebra and I have both been talking about tattoos for years, but its not something I just want to jump into. I do like to talk to people about their ink. The meanings behind them and why they got them in the first place. Im actually looking forward to seeing Jen's Ink, it looks amazing in images, and will in person too! Our unicorn has her whole back done with wings, its unfinished but its amazing unto itself. Color, black and white, what, placement are all very important and have places in the decision process. I know my power animal as a Geko, why? I dont know, I just love the animal, both in real life and in images and tats. We have several metal ones at the house. A lion is also very powerful in my life, being my nick name. Perhaps I need both of them. From my (lion) prospective I dont know where to place them yet. I want people to see them and to ask me about them, but I dont want too much attention. As an IT guy, I am in the lime light a fair bit already. With bodybuilding they become difficult to cover and takes away from the physique IMO. But there are hundreds of people with them, and they make do..... I guess only time will tell.......I will get one eventually, im sure zebra will too.
Isn't life a bitch when classy sex gods like this can't be cloned so ALL womankind can have one...... Damn, just going to have to do with boring old normal folk that don't feel the need to annotate their mouths, but just get down to business..... It's worked very nicely so far........
