If you scroll up you can see the revised FULL design, although it may still
change this will give you an idea of what I'm going for. I'm anxious to show

I think I have a pretty high tolerance for pain. Or....... I may just end up in
the fetal position crying like a baby. Well hell, now I'm nervous about it!
    Thanks a lot! LOL.

No matter where you get a tat, it hurts but that "rib" area REALLY hurts.

I would say def put a lot of thought into your art. I waited until I was 26 and after I had kids to finally decide on what I wanted. The first piece I got was what you see on my rib cage/side. It holds huge meaning in that each flower/bud represents a time/person in my life that is significant to me.

The dragon on my arm was to represent the vision that came to me, after years of illusions. In fact, the word dragon comes from a Greek word that means "sharp sighted one". For me, it is also a symbol of hope, creation and power. I grew up with a huge Scandinavian influence and my father used to tell me stories of Viking ships with immense dragon heads at the front of their ships which (again) lend the warriors sight as they made their way into battle. My dad has three dragon tattoos, and ever since I was a kid I remember being awed by the mystery that they held in my mind.

At last, it is significant in that "Puff the Magic Dragon" was the song that both myself and my boys father sang to our boys as we rocked them to sleep at night. Since he passed away 3 years ago, I have felt that the dragon on my arm is connects me to those times, even though I got the tattoo prior to his death.
