Some people are insane! I'm all for tattoos, and making them original, but these are ridiculous. They're going to look back in 30 years and regret this.
Funny you post this thread... I've been debating a tattoo for years, but never actually got one. My trip to TTR made me want one even more, and I'm ready to do the plunge on my first, and am already planning my second lol.. I agree with everybody else about don't just pick something out of a book... I want every tattoo I get to have special meaning... And my first tattoo will be something similar that the wife & I are both going to get. We have a saying, "To Infinity and beyond, together", so we were trying to think of something to get without actually getting that... The wife came up with the idea of a sketched buzz lightyear with an infinity symbol in a different color drawn on him... Then she wants to do something with stars, and I want to do something in binary since i'm a geek. Here's a REALLY bad drawing of something I'm thinking... I threw this together in photoshop really quick... The binary spells out "and beyond"... I want it to be almost like jet trails.. Then after that, i'm thinking the start of a half sleeve on one of my arms...
tattoo our profile pic is of the latest of my 4 tattoos(more to come lol).this one is in honour of my mother who fought a long hard fight but after almost 20 years of fighting, breast cancer took her. she was the strongest and bravest woman I have ever known. this is also to honour all the other woman out there, friends, family,strangers who are fighting the fight...keep on fighting and beat this thing
Easiest way for me is to add a pic to one of our photo albums on here and then link it from there. Hope that helps.
Upload your picture to a free image hosting site (we use tinypic.com) and then post the link they provide you here, the picture will show up.
Update.... I almost have my design ready to go and found a great tattoo artist. I will post a picture when it's finished. Hubby scheduled some rework and additions for himself. We'll show his too. Feel free to post pics of your work. We appreciate the art form!
We got ours last Jan. in Cancun at Monster Tattoo. They did a great job of design and on the tattoo's. It was Mikes second and Kathy's first. Mike will add on to his this Jan. while at TTR. Gotta wait till the last evening to keep them out of the sun though.
