I love the meaning of yours. Plus butterflies are just beautiful creatures. Mine will be meaningful too. I'm a graphic designer so I want to design my own for the most part. But I'm open to the tattoo artist improving on it.
Oh no! I'd be so upset if it was put on crooked! Thanks for the warning. I will keep a critical eye on the placement. I think it's worth the wait to get the one you really want. Start saving your pennies.....assuming there's anything left after saving up for your next TTR trip. Priorities.
Funny story to reiterate the importance of meaningful tattoos: Two of my friends went to get tattoos together. Each got a Chinese character on the center' of her lower back. Jen's said "peace," and Karen's said "friendship." A little while later, they decide they want to do it again and get matching tattoos, so each will get the character the other already has. However, they want it to be symmetrical, so they need to choose a third character.... ...So, they go out drinking:ernaehrung015:..... And after a few beers, they go to the tattoo parlor and start looking at the different characters. Jen: "Look! They have 'goats!'" Karen: "I love goats!" So, um, yeah...they now both have tramp stamps that read, "Peace, friendship, and goats.":doh:
I'll have to leave sending the photos to my husband but I will tell you we both have meaningful tats and they are addicting (maybe not as addicting as TTR but close). Lol..... I have his (husbands) initials on my foot and I have on my lower back a drawing that a very good friend drew for me My husband has three, he has the "W" for the Wisconsin badgers, he has my initials with a heart, and he had a meat cleaver with his fathers initials and year of birth and death. He was raised in a meat processing plant (family business) and his dad has many awards for his cutting and meat talents and he was very proud of them. We'll send photos or post them here, I just need to figure out how to do it...lol
Oh my god! That's insane! At least it helps me narrow it down to what I DON'T want! I wouldn't want to be responsible for giving my mom a heart attack. LOL. Matchandahalf, maybe you're just not looking hard enough. Put the word out and see what pops up...
