So you are saying they are consistently inconsistent! Sad but true...welcome to the new TTR. They are figuring it out as they go along and have too many chiefs, or they are allowing the staff the autonomy to set the rules themselves. They is management. Could also simply be a communication flowdown issue due to staff schedules and some turnover. No problem getting shots today and the sexy pool was open until 8ish! Not exactly sure when the bar closed. But the hot tub was definitely closed as there was no one in it. Of course only ~60% occupancy. But didn’t look or feel it to me. Supposed to go up to about 75% for the weekend according to one of the well known managers (name withheld for protection).
Have never had a problem before getting shots, but I found that they do frequently 'run out' or simply refuse to serve you any more of a specific drink e.g. frequently running out of the good tequila, fireball, flavoured vodka. I'm guessing there's a quota for the day and if they hit that quota, good luck seeing that drink available for a few days. Were you tipping extra for the shots? I don't think the bar staff are as keen to go out of their way in terms of effort to make stacks of shots if tipping is equivalent to making one or two. Maybe I'm barking up the wrong tree but I've always found the bar staff more accommodating when you're a good tipper, but some bar staff have always been better than others. I think we've established more of a relationship by this point with servers that walk around the pool, swim-up sexy pool bar and Bash. Feel like we've struggled more to get decent service at the premier beach bar.
Inconsistency has always been the rule. We have been going to TTR for a long time, and that is one thing that never changes.
I've never felt comfortable ordering a bunch of shots. They always seem so busy. Really I don't enjoy going up to the bar at all, but it is quite necessary. I tip every time, but they seldom seem like they are in a good mood. Always in a hurry, and moving on to the next person. Maybe if you just sat at the bar, and were in the same spot for a period of time it would be different, but that's seldom something I do.
you know I am thinking of going to dollar tree and buying a bunch of those little shot glasses ..get them to make a big glass of a shot and then filling the little shot glasses up if we can find the crowd we like to play keep it up with a beach ball if you drop the ball you do a shot ..and I think that would make it way easier .. maybe filling a bubba mug up or something
I was part of the group of 10 and we were told their manager said only 4 shots. I am a premiere member and then I felt they were giving us disgusting shots. Really pissed me off. Kinda feel noone cares about our experience.. . Buyer Beware..
I gotta say if they limit me with out me being drunk I am gonna hunt down my butler and complain ..he was always saying we didn't give him anything to do .. so that will make him happy lol
Yesterday at Premier Bar (tiki) was 4 shots each at a time. So I got 4 and wife got 4 at a time to hand out.
