Dressing up a little (me in cotton pants, button down top, casual shoes) with their woman looking nice (her in a sun dress and casual shoes) is how we roll there. Comfortable and looks good. Easy to slip out of too. So practical.

Couldn't of put it better. MY holiday, my money, my choice. I once heard a rumour that TTR was the most non judgemental place on earth I can't imagine sitting in a restaurant on holiday looking around at other guests attire and sulking about it. Never worn long trousers ever in any of the Restaurants. Have a great holiday
I will say that in my experience a thong and a unicorn mask is not accepted at any of them! Mayb it was the combination of the two! Go figure .Lol
By me explaining my wishes to wear pants to compliment and respect my wife's dress and high class of the restaurant we go to ,,, by no means was meant to dis-respect those that wish to go in their shorts. It just shows I have class , and others are threatened by that .

Clarifying my comment If you wife is dressed smart casual,, and you have dress shorts and real shirt , thumbs up,, you match If you wife is dressed formal and your dressed smart casual , that is not classy . Why would you assume I sweat in my pants ? You will not sweat if you have the proper summer pants and good hygiene.
