My husband says maybe there might be good bargains in cancun. He has promised me a designer handbag ( coach, dooney, prada, michael kors) he thinks maybe I could get a better deal there than in the states. Is there any truth in that?
I hope he doesn't plan on a fake, but are there fakes? what are the good deals in cancun? this is going to be our first time there and probabky a once in a lifetime trip due to the fact that we have four kids. (two in college, ouch!)
There's fakes everywhere...even Cancun. I live in Ohio too (just north of Cincinnati) and have found that most of the designer stuff is about the same pricewise as it is here...sometimes it's even more expensive.
She is right - we have found the REAL designer stuff to be more expensive here. As for the fakes, you see the fake Louis V's everywhere here.
we found the licensed stuff to be more expensive than here (I live in NE Ohio) but you can find TONS of bootlegs of anything down there, especially in the 'flea market' areas...
