The shop across the street is very expensive but for the non scrupt stuff you can haggle a bit but youll still pay twice as much as at Walmart sonif youre bulk buying wallyworld is the place to go
There are actually two shops across the street that sell all of that stuff. The shop directly across the street seems to be part of a chain I believe to be called Ahorro. If you walk about a block (or less) to the left you will find another farmacia selling meds as well, and last time we bought some of the generic stuff there due to a slightly better price. There is also a money exchange cambrio window very near that store as well. I'm sure the local Walmart beats both on price, but the convenience is very nice. We have bought meds that are normally prescription here at both stores to bring home for friends / family. If you check Google maps you can virtually drive down the dtreet and see both!
I am a nurse and asked out of curiosity at the pharmacy across the street what we could buy without RX - yes you can get narcotics - Ultram, Vicadin for sure. Tons of antibiotics and cheap. Flexeril, Phenergan, Xanax, several antidepressants. It is worth a look if even for interest. Cheers!
All thise are available, but not cheap by Mexico standards. Cheap for people who dont have medical but Walmart is truly the place to go. $2 for a doc consult and meds cheap as f#%k vs the the shops across the street.
Instead of Viagra, have you ever tried the generic, seldenafi citrate? I heard from a friend... it works just as well, and can be purchase for 25 cents a pill, as opposed to the outrageous price of Viagra.
I kind of got the feeling that often prices are set by who ever is doing the Paso to usd conversion. Some will take advantage some wont. I went to the pharmacy across the street for some cough drops. Way too much singing at Bash. When the girl gave me the price in Pasos I asked her how much in usd. She had a magic calculator that turned a 4.00 bag of cough drops into 12.00 usd. In sure they are a little more in Mexico but 8.00 more. I had no voice and figured I was contributing to the local economy so I handed of 12 dollar's and went may merry to sing with Pit Bull yet again
