thanks everyone. perhaps we should all hold hands & what-not to prevent anyone from falling by slippery areas? i'll be glad to assist anyone... with or without heels on ox
I hate wearing heels so I usually don't. My feet are too messed up. I'm pretty sure I wore any sort of heel/wedge for a total of 10 minutes during our entire two weeks in April.
Minimum of 3 pairs of "stripper" shoes in various colours, other black heels, white heels, one pair of flip flops for the pool. (I love shooooooooes!) :daisy:
Cindy packs her suitcase full of her shes and then uses my suitcase for all of her other stuff. I'm regulated to my carry-on luggage only. But it is so worth it, she looks great in heels!
I (Laura, not Todd!)trot around most nights there in 5"=7" stripper platforms and (knocking wood vigorously) no problems, even in the rain. The stripper shoes from Lovers Lane and Yandy are way more comfortable than regular stilettos because they're less pitched on the inside. I would say to practice walking and going down stairs in them before you go, and make sure your shoes have some kind of ankle support. Booties are great, but slip-ons are sprains in the making. Also, rough up the soles with some sandpaper.
Haha I (Kath!) only wore a bra once on our last trip - trip to walmart day. It felt very restrictive lol!
I love shoes and cannot imagine not bringing a variety of heels to go with each outfit. To each his own. I am not very tall so I love how it makes me 5' 10 or 11"! Heels emphasize the leg muscles and just make the outfit, in my opinion. As a seasoned traveler to TTR, I have learned to bring less clothes, more thongs, a few tiny dresses and ONE pair of flip flops so I can bring more hot heels.
